Wakeboard NSW season commences this Sunday 28th September with round 1 of the 08-09 Summer series being held at Governor Philip Park Windsor kick off @ 7.30am. So come and join us celebrate the end of a cold winter and the beginning of a long hot summer. For all past competitors it will be a great chance to catch up with old friends and for the first timers we have a novice division which is a great introduction to the competition scene, this division is open to all wakeboarders of any level the only criteria is that you have not entered a competition before.

The QWA season is about to kick off this weekend with round 1 at Lake Kurwongbah in Brisbane Sunday 21st of September.

Ride For Peace is the first ever simultaneous global wakeboard event and is happening this weekend! The event has been set up to raise awareness for the recently created World Peace Day on the 21st of September every year. Check out the list of wakeboard cable parks below and get along to an event to support such a great cause.
The Co-Founder of the Peace One Day Charity, Jeremy Gilley, is an Englishman that spends his time travelling the globe putting his heart and soul into improving humanity, when he’s at home we usually bump into him on the dock at JBski Thorpe, that’s right he’s a wakeboarder and a decent one at that!
In 2007 the first ever Ride For Peace event was held at JBski. This year a global invitation was sent out to every cable park asking them to join us and host their own Ride for Peace.
With an amazing response we have commitments from 11 cables spanning 7 countries that will run their own Ride for Peace event this year. This is a huge and exciting achievement for wakeboarding and it will be expanding more over the coming years.
