After last week’s win at the first stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard tour, and his utter domination of all the events last season it’s no surprise Harley Clifford is one of the year’s top Contenders. We got a chance to sit down with him and chat a little about the upcoming season on the PWT and what kind of things he’s looking for as goals, what he thinks this season has in store and the new faces and old friends he’ll be battling against.
After the smoke has cleared from the first stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour it’s clear that Cory Teunissen will be turning more heads this year. We caught up with him to see what his mind is at coming into his rookie season on the PWT and what he thinks it’s going to take for him to be successful. After grabbing second at his very first stop it’s safe to say he knows what he needs to do, now let’s see how he enters goes into the next stop at the ripe age of only 17 years old.
This past weekend the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour hit The Colony in Texas to kick off the inaugural year of the all-new PWT! With the weather not exactly on the side of the riders they entered the weekend with the hopes of taking home a slice of the over $30k in prize money throwing down at the event. Even though the conditions weren’t optimal the finals had some pretty insane riding, all thrown down behind the Supra SE550, and it literally came down to the last pull of the day to determine the winner. In trying conditions yesterday Harley Clifford won the first stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour in Texas! With Cory Teunissen clearly in the lead going into the final best of two rounds Harley Clifford went out last off the dock and threw down to win the first event of the series and start the 2015 PWT with a win. The Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour kicked off today at Stewart Creek Park in Texas with a qualifying round for tomorrow’s main event. The Pro Men had 5 heats with only the Top 2 riders advancing to meet the pre-qualified Top 8 riders to equal a total of 20 tomorrow for the Quarters.
