Got the belts and pulleys on too. The alternator belts a bit big so I'll have to change it.

Fished the old seats out to check out placement.
I don't realize the back seat was that rooted.

I'm thinking of getting rid of them over transom headers and getting some rolco manifolds n plumbing them through the back.
It's going to be a bit much trying to set up cooling up and them at the same time.
Plus they're a pain to bolt up.
So if anyone's got any second hand ones to suit a sbc laying around I'm chasing a pair.

Found the old ski tow.
It a bit ratty, the chrome is flaking off and old mate that owned the boat before must have modified it to get around the distributor.

Moved the fuel filter down.
It was in the road of the coolant lines up the top.

About 2/3 of the way through cooling. I've got some heater hose on order. So where it goes from hull to engine it's not so ridged.

Shifters done just need to get the leg back so I can adjust it.
The legs still in getting the skeg welded back on it. He's having issues, apparently it's not welding real well. Might be because of all the impurities in the cast.

Bought some second hand logs off eBay. They should be here before the end of the week.
I'm not going to drill holes in the transom until I sort the steering out.
A few mates are shouting us some power steering parts they've got laying around which is cool.

The copper pipework looks awesome mate. looks a lot neater than the tangle of hoses I have crossing all over my engine.

Got the fuel rail and throttle bracket on.
The studs that held the carby on where too short and in the process i snapped one of the studs of in the manifold.
I brought a set of easy outs and ended up snapping that off
I ended up getting it but a 10min job took all day.

Prop turned up on the weekend too.
I got it on the boat but forgot to take a pic of it.
It was cheaper to get one delivered from Florida in the States than it was to get one outta Melbourne.
I got a 28p front and rear prop.
But maybe next season i might have a play with combinations with a 26p set.
Because what i was told was for a small ski boat like this is.
"26P lead prop with large shaft and 28P rear propeller.
The concept is the rear prop should always be higher pitch then rear prop in 3 blade combinations for best efficiency.
Awesome if you have big power to weight ratio or require low speed planning ability 26/28 combo would be best for top end on a small set up"

So the last few days Ive been looking at what tips i want and how to do it.
Looking at the original set up they were fairly high up on the transom and dont really have much of a S to stop water getting into the block.
