Any idea how much your "project" has cost so far?? I have checked out the restoration, to say you took a big bite would be an understatement. Great work bringing something back from that condition. Many others would have sent the old girl to the long yard.

I've lost track but the boat owes me about $20k when done.
I've learnt stacks and definitely know what to look for if I ever do upgrade or what to look for in the next project.

I could have it done before Christmas but I'll run out of coin before then.
Still gotta get a prop and the exhausts need modifying a bit and a heap of lil things that add up.
It'll get wet this summer for sure.

After 12 months I finally got it back.
Looks good from a distance but definitely a rushed job.
With some vinyl stripes and name it should look respectable.

I'll start getting all the gear out of the shed Monday arvo.
Engine should be bolted up next weekend... that shouldn't be too hard.

The next big hurdle is trying to get these to fit.
rps20161207_224724.jpg

I'm near certain that they'll have to hug the block a bit more and while I'm at it I'll make them point down slightly. They're practically parallel to the hull at the moment.
Edit: there shouldn't be that much I have to do, I got 150mm around the block so they might just need bringing in.
