What year was it that the G series went to the 2:1 gearbox. 2015 I think. I would assume the fuel consumption to be improved on those years due to better prop and holeshot.

The only numbers I have are that recently after a coaching clinic day using Nautique Central 2017 G23 with the 550 motor they filled it up and it calculated out at 31 L/h. Fairly sure the 550 motor is 98 fuel only.

To be honest I thought that was pretty good going considering the size of the wake and being a coaching day when trying new stuff and probably falling and getting out of the water more often than usual.

I recon my g23 with the 550 is some where in the 30-35l window but I've given up tracking it if you can justify a g21/3 you can afford the fuel. If you want to have a look in a g23 in Albury let me know.
