Salem ski

Postby punnyboy » Thu Oct 28, 2010 4:24 pm

Iam looking for a good quality Salem ski for my 9yo daughter, she only weights 21kg so I was looking for something in the 54"-58".
Ive tried all the local shops in SA and they say no one will have anything that small. Surely some one would import decent kids skis?

The only company that I know dealing with kids slalom skis are ho. They do the judge, thats about the best you will find for a price. I also think Jobe might be doing a kids slalom as well but it will be of a fairly high quality and you may have to part with some dollars.
I would sell you our judge but I still have 4 kids to use it, my oldest will have to update shortly.
If you look on ebay or skideal you may find something.

The only thing you can do is cut down a ski or get a pair of those double training skis for kids with the bar attached and just use one. I had to learn on an old fred williams plank with tennis shoes on so my feet wouldnt slip out when I was 4 or 5 but thats back in the 70's.
They will grow into the ski and the ho judge is very stable for beginners.

Kids Slalom Ski

Postby Jstarwake » Thu Nov 04, 2010 5:22 pm

Hi Guys
Jobe has a range of new kids skis this year, starting at $599.99. It is of the latest design and in various levels up to a pro slalom.
Please give me a call, I would like to discuss the ski size for your daughter. I have been involved with skiing for a number of years and coached children including my own from very young. I want to make sure you start off in the right direction.

please feel free to call 02 60404422 and ask for Wayne

Have fun with the kids
