Wakesurfers

Postby jed_ballina » Sun Mar 27, 2011 6:51 pm

Just wanted to know the main difference between a single fin and three fin wakesurfer? Going to be purchasing one and not sure what to go...been looing at the LF Custom 4'6 either the standard one or the Thruster in the 4'6.

Any help would be great. Thanks :)

Thruster will turn hard and snap off the lip, single fin will slide out and feel very skatey... Why dont you get a board that has three fin boxs so you can mix it up ? Pm sent

Hi Mate, I have a 4ft7 'Inception' from Wicked industries Australia and they have 5 fin placements so u can choose your own riding style. I use 4 fins so I have the bite and ease of 360's but can change fins so it is cruisy. Awesome board.

For $100 bux less you can get a hand shaped shredstixx that rides like a real surfboard and launches big air, Check em out !

Sorry peettee but to me the shredstixx looks like a cut down surfboard found at a council clean up!!! My board looks great, very light and I get big air, clean ride and pull 360's with ease. Plus I have seen shredstixx on ebay for $700.... which is more than $100 dearer and doesn't include a cover..... 8O

Two words Chase Hazen, have a look on youtube at what these boards are capable of.
Pm me if you want a decent price.
I cant find any evidence of people launching big air on an Inception ? Got any footage ??
Not baggin your ride mate, each to their own. I was brought up surfing thats why im a stixx fan, they are the closest surf feel wakesurfer around, and the original!
Peace
