Ladies Slalom Ski

Postby alext » Sat Nov 08, 2014 10:31 am

Hi guys, Just looking for some help choosing the right ski for my wife. I know this threads been done before, but with so much information out there I'm more confused than ever!

She is a beginner-intermediate open water skier and is approx 174cm/67kg. She can get up and ski across the wake no problem but I wouldn't say she's carving yet or an aggressive skier.

I have been looking at getting her a Jobe Flora. It comes in either 65 or 67in. I'm wondering if 67 would be too long for her? She seems to always fall right between in the size charts. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I'm also looking at a Kd xenon in 66in.

Thanks in advance!

I wonder what you ended up getting her. My husband bought me a Jobe Flora around the same time you posted this and I am a similar build to your wife and sound similar in ability. Haven't been too impressed with the quality of the ski though....
