Album Films Competition

Postby cam » Thu May 13, 2004 2:05 am

Album films have given us a copy of Asterisk and Boombox to give away on the website.
To win a copy of Asterisk, we want to see your wakeskating pictures and videos, and for Boombox, your wakeboarding ones.
The competition will be judged by a few people who have been in the wakeboarding industry for a while, and judging wont be based on the best quality images or videos.
What we are looking for is the biggest wow factor from your media.
For further details, follow this thread in the forums.
To check out what films are up for grabs, and see what other films Album Films have done, check out their website

Rules:

- Must be your own material, nothing copywrite. (video part)
- All entries must be forwarded directly to me, and will be hosted in a photo gallery for the competition
- Entries in the competition may be used for advertising by wake.com.au - Any profits/offers of money will be directed to the owner of the material and permission will be asked before we use it
- Footage can be of anything you like as long as its obvious that it's related to wakeboarding or wakeskating.
- Footage will be judged on its "wow" appeal by the judges, not the quality of the photo/video - example, if you have very poor condition of a 1080, you will probably beat a full 5 minute feature.
- Entries only open to Australian and New Zealand people.

Closing date for this competition is 15 June 2004
Entries can be found at http://wake.com.au/modules.php?name=News&article=30

cp - no limits, but under 5 minutes would be recommended
pointless_malish135 - At the moment there are no limits to entries.
murrayboarder - quality isnt an issue for this comp, its all about the wow factor. impress the judges, you win. This can be done by making a damn good vid, or by someone just doing a really good trick

When is this competition closing?

Are there any more details as yet?

Can we submit more than one entry?

Just curious....... As always!

Is anyone else having trouble viewing GRADG's clips? I may be missing a codec or something but I can't seem to see the clip, only hear it!

Any info would be great - Keen to see the clips!
