Congratulations to all the entrants! There is some great footage there and some videos REALLY have the WOW factor in some of those tricks!!

We also are waiting on the third judge's decision before we post our results but we do vow to have them posted in the next couple of days.

Again, well done to all and keep those cameras rolling.

The XS Team.

delay on the wakeboard results is because I am getting the judges to watch all the clips with the sound turned down so as not to be influenced by a good song and focus more on the clip.
Should have an answer tonight, along with a new comp.

I know there was some concern over copyright and the likes for the tunes but the music really makes most of the vid's in this comp. I'd say timing the video to music is half of the wow factor. And the comp did say its all about the wow factor.

Just my two cents.

After much deliberation CP has been decided as the winner of the wakeboarding video.
It was quite a tough desicion with quite a few top entries in the comp.

Ok, the results are in!

As there was only two entrants for the wakeskating, we dropped that division. Sorry guys!

As for the wakeboarding clips.......... GREAT TURNOUT!

The criteria was WOW Factor. That Bug Slider in Raily's clip was pretty cool. Hyperlite's clip had some pretty awesome riding in it. A few of the clips have been put together really well and you guys/gals should stick with the editing side of things... there's some real potential!

But enough small talk. We have decided to award two prizes for the wakeboarding category. And the winners are:

* Raily180 with the Double backroll from the Penrith Worlds. The clip was plain but the wow factor was definitely there!! Congrats!

* CP with his clip. The barefooter jumping from that height (houseboat or bridge??) and the general editing was great and it had to get something!

Both these guys will have a case of their favourite flavour sent out to them. Guys, just get in touch via PM and we'll talk details.

Again, thanks to all that entered and we look forward to seeing what the wake judges come up with.

The XS Team.

Cheers to wake.com.au, Album films, xs-drinks and the judges.

Also thanks for all the feed back from the wake.com.au members.

And yes the barefoot jump was from a house boat

I'd also like to thank XS Drinks and the members of Wake.com.au. It's nice to get some recognition.

Can't wait to get those drinks! :D

Sorry guys, I have been away in Townsville over the weekend and flat out at work.
My only chance it to get out tomorrow night at late night shopping that if the post office is open, if not I can hopefully sneak off from the Grommie fest for an hour to do it on the weekend.

Thanks Hazza appreciate it.

I used a panasonic NV MX500A 3CCD Video camera along with Adobe Premiere 6.5 The camera is for sale in the classifieds, but those clips don't really show its true potential as i had to compress them a fair bit.
