Shape looks good but you really need a person or something in the photo to help judge the actual size better.

Homemade surf gate? Nice, any chance of tutorial or something for making one?

Hey wakeboardgirl,

axis-2011and I have started making them for a range of boats. We just finished making one for my mb tomcat and it works great.

What boat do you have? we might already have a design for your boat?

Hey Jakeyhamer,
Probably the main boat i'd use it on would be the old Matrix Sorrento. I think its about a 2004 model and was bought without any ballast or anything built in. Looking at getting fat sacs for it as well.

I have just put a plug and play on top of the normal set up, now looking at a wedge after doing the Malibu come and try day
as for a gate I figured my service centre would be pissed if I did but think the idea is great

We haven't figured a set price out for all boats due to every hull being different. testing and changing designs to optimise the surf wave.

As far as your service centre. Its just a bolt on, or in this case strap on accessory. So you remove it when you are not surfing. and the boat remains stock. I will get some pictures this weekend of this device.

we designed one for a Malibu response lxi and could surf the wave with no ballast and no wedge with 8 people in the boat.

I would like to hear more about this surf gate mate. I have been building boats for a little while and thinking this would be a nice option.
