I recently got a CTI (very good).

I got a referall from my GP to an ORTHOTIST who measured ordered and fitted it (there are a few adjustments).

You can get them direct from Gall Bros Medical but I wanted to claim myn from BUPA and that was the required process - got about 80% back on my cover.

Just purchased a pod active k8 knee brace. Half the price of a cti and i have zero complaints about the pod. Super comfy, great fitment for being a standardised size. Tested it pretty hard on the weekend motorcross riding with a few falls. Acl is still intact. I wore in continuously for 5 hours each day walking around and wasn't uncomfortable. Malibu rider Thorry Heaney recommended it to me as he also snapped his acl and wears it. Go onto their website and they will point you in the right direction. Most motorbike stores should stock them. I paid $500 for mine.
