So I decided to try my hand at making a Wakeskate, I decided on a 41 " x 15 1/2" deck with a continuous rocker at 65mm. 3 x 7mm ply sheets and quite a few coats of paint and resin and finished with Liquid Force fins (slightly modified). Just waiting for some clear grip tape to arrive and we'll be good to go.

It should do, I have made many disks using the same method of sealing and have never lost one.

So I got out yesterday and put the skate in the water which was a hoot. Best fun I've had in ages. Totally recommend putting one in the toy bag.

Awesome! It looks like it has tons of rocker from the pics. Are you going W2W or lots of fun surface stuff?
Enjoy the ride. Any time on the water is good time!

Haha, I took a guess at the rocker but it seems to work pretty well, I really don't have anything else to base it on though so am having fun trying and learning. :D
I also made a freeboard which hasn't hit the water yet but am heading out to Boondooma Dam for 8 days in exactly 1 week (totally excited) so all the toys should get a good workout then.

P.s If there is anyone else that's going to be out that way from the 17th to the 25th feel free to come over for a beer and a chat. We love meeting like minded enthusiasts.
