Many people wakeboard over winter and what's it like I'm thinking of getting a good wetsuit but not sure haha

Depends where in Victoria.

We wakeboard in the sea mainly and its currently 16.5 degrees. The coldest it gets is around 11.

Kitesurfers seem to keep going all winter, so why not?

Cool - I was planning to come up for a lesson or 2 with Travis Osborne this month but haven't made it. Might now go in September when it will be even colder.

We usually wakeboard all winter at bunbalong. But there draining the lake which sucks. Might have to head to echuca instead.

My mates kiteboard in winter and they say the the bay is warmer than the river. One year is was around 8 degrees. A good 4/3 chest zip wetsuite does the trick

The Bay doesn't seem to get much below 11 degrees. There's a group of hardy souls called the Mentone Icebergers that swim every day of the year.
