Just about ready for another crack at the SAN wake Brownie
Jellies aren't too thick yet. Just big. Only up to ski park at this stage, and they aren't very thick there.
Re: the swimmer getting hit by a boat. She was swimming across the stretch of water between the ski park and the big rocks on the other side (ie. in the middle). A family towing a tube didn't see her, she tried to duck dive but the prop hit her feet. Taken to Shoalhaven Hospital but then transferred to Wollongong. Reckon that would be the worst feeling, having hit a swimmer!

I was suprised that there wasn't more of a presence on the water from Maritime and Police on saturday arvo. Thinking I might have to wear my prescription glasses while driving the boat...

well, I am heading down to albatross in 6 weeks for a couple of years. The wife and boat will be staying in Canberra with me travelling back home most weekends.
Although some weekends I will bring the boat down, during my down time and when I am not deployed with the teams, is there a chance of joining any1 for afterwork midweek rides???
tks greg.

Oh, that's a bit unfair! I'm not a workaholic, I just happen to work lots of hours. But then, we wouldn't have the boat if I didn't work the hours so it's a catch 22 situation. Just have to take the good with the bad....

I know the driver was at fault and all but you have to be pretty stupid to swim across the river in the middle of summer. We've been in the park for a while and people do it every year, it was just a matter of time before someone got hit.

good,
been busy with work. I know that doesn't sound right but shift work means I get alot of midweek riding with no other boats.
I will prob get the boat down to nowra 1 or 2 weekends a month if im not out at sea, so if you want 2b a 3rd, yr more than welcome. Couple of 250's down the side now, so the wake pops a bit more.
Will Pm you once I get down there.

Jeez good to see you guys are still alive! Well haven't been able to drag my behind too far from Goulburn apart from the compulsary drinking commitments. And looks like we'll be heading for the Netherlands for a while when I'm done here. I should be back somewhere in march and then either moving to Wollongong or Fremantle, so lets hope for the best. Rsole keeps sending me these annoying videoclips with pimped up sounds of everyone ripping it up, good on ya ya bastard! Hope to see you guys soon.

Come on ya softies the jellies aren't anywhere near as bad as what they have been in previous years. Last year, for example you had something to complain about.

Yes , time to upgrade the car I think. Was an impressive burn out though fortunatly I dont pay for the tyres.
That ramp is a bitch at low tide I always manage to find the holes.
Had my daughter (9yrs ) and her friends out getting them all up on her new board and doing a bit of tubing with the little ones was nice down the river till the wind picked up.Dont be shy next time Bellie come over and say Hi ( or give me a push out of that bloody ramp)LOL.
