for those who have installed a high pole or a tower. has the boat rolled much when cutting? and also what is a good height to make the tow point for a clinker?

I've put towers on two clinkers and yes they do roll, but most boats do (big wakeboats aside) I'd recommend making the height of the tower hoop an inch taller than your tallest crew member. Resist going too big, the boat will just roll more. Also factor in how the tower folds and where inside the boat it will lay. The actual tow point should be somewhere over the engine hatch (midmount)

Skidaddle Four.... last timber runabout built by Bert Everingham in 1969. 302 Windsor, dog clutch, mostly original boat. Yet to get it in the water as im still wetting the timbers to close up the gaps! I'l do a few tidy ups but it will pretty well stay the way it is
