Where's all the Moderators on here? And the advertising and the community events and free shirts n stubbie holders?
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?as far as i know there are no moderators. Other than the site owner... could be wrong, not sure if Aussie_Stu was a moderator. But he fell off the face of this earth a long time ago

Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?Does the owner do much on here much?
This is the busiest I've seen it in a while.
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?He last visited November 21... Pretty sure if the name is in red, they are a mod.
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?I thought they had a crown thing next to there name.
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here? The site owner is a little busy at the moment. I know he just had a new baby and is also currently overseas with his real job.

Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?Interesting you ask about community events. Years ago we tried to have a wake.com.au meet up at Somerset Dam.
Was good in that we met some cool people, but then some people (who we didn't really know) decided to break the boom gate and cause a stir. Next thing the camp site management are trying to say Cam should be paying to fix things etc. All a bit of a pain although I do have a funny pic of Cam looking serious talking to the cops while wearing a wakeboard helmet. It looked like he had to wear it to stop him harming himself. The campsite managers looked at us a bit like a club where all members are known, as opposed to a bunch of people who are very loosely associated by writing stuff on a web site forum. Having said that, meeting all sorts of people from the site over the years has been awesome ![]() Brownie knows boats!
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?I've been a part of many forums, this forum is definitely quiet. But there isn't a need for moderators really, I'm a bit of a post whore but every1 is pretty accomodating.
It's always good to see high views and not many posts shows that guys are happy to not have a say on the matter rather than stir .
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here? It's changed a lot over the years. The Aussie wake scene has changed a great deal too, as has the info available and how people access it. I still pop on daily as I can't get enough wakeboarding information and discussion, but there's only so much people want to discus

Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?this site was massively active a few years back... last year or two it has really died off

Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?A few years ago there was no Facebook and Instagram for people to get their daily wakeboarding info/pics.
Social media just took over and thus the traffic on here dropped off massively. Not all bad, just the way things change over time. Forums are still way better for some uses such as to see a build/project or to search for an old thread with some good pics or details you are trying to look for. Brownie knows boats!
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?
by the way the site owner is Cam. Member 7769
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?Might need to get Cam to get on here pretty soon, anyone else noticed these weird posts not related to content from this guy: rentdresgnq ??

10 points if you post up this picture here.
Re: Where's all the Moderators on here?Ha. Sorry, I totally missed this thread.
Yeah I was overseas when this happened and hopefully cleaned up and stopped the spam back then. Been a little busy with babies and work and don't get on here as much as I used to. Still keeping the lights on for those keen to talk wakeboarding and don't care much for the dramas of farcebook.
